Pairing a Swidget Z-Wave Insert with a Fibaro Gateway

This article outlines the steps required to pair a Swidget Z-Wave Insert with a Fibaro Gateway. We assume that you already have a functioning Fibaro Home Center Gateway and are familiar with how it works. Compatible Devices: Swidget Z-Wave products

This article applies to only Swidget Z-Wave Inserts and will not work for other Swidget products.

  1. Ensure that the Swidget Z-Wave Insert is installed in the host wiring device.
  2. Log into the Home Center configuration interface.
  3. Click Add or remove device from the Devices section.
  4. Click Add to start inclusion (adding) mode.
  5. Press and hold the button on the Swidget Insert for about 5 seconds until the LED begins flashing blue.
  6. If you are adding in Security S2 Authenticated, scan the DSK QR code or input beginning characters of the device-specific key (DSK). This code can be obtained by scanning the QR code on the Insert.
  7. Your Z-Wave Insert should now be available to control in the Fibaro Home Center.
