16/06/2023 - Home Assistant Integration
We are aware of an issue with Home Assistant 2023.6.2 that causes issues with Swidget Wi-Fi Inserts. A fix is in the works. Solved: Please update the Swidget HACS repository to version 2aeee64 released on June 24.

02/05/2023 - Auxiliary controls don't respond in the iOS app

In rare instances the Auxiliary control switch power button does not respond in the App. A fix has been found and should be released shortly.

26/04/2023 - IFTTT Connection Issue
We are aware of an issue that prevents users from connecting their Swidget account to IFTT. This is due to a change in IFTTT's endpoints.

04/04/2023 - Air Quality Automations do not re-trigger as expected
We are aware of an bug that prevents air quality automations from re-triggering until the air quality has returned to "Excellent." A firmware fix is in the works and should be available very soon.

Solved: A firmware update to fix this issue was released 29/05/2023

 

04/04/2023 - Swidget App crashes when editing background image on iPad
We are aware of a bug that causes the Swidget App to crash when attempting to change the background image for a room. 

Solved: Fixed in App Version 1.21.0 and later

 

03/31/2023 - Schedule automation may not work after WiFi outage if start time is after end time
An issue was reported where a scheduled automation would not run if the start time came before the end time and the WiFi was disconnected at some point. If the WiFi was disconnected after the end time, when the Insert comes back online, the current time is recalculated and if the end time has already passes, the the rule is not run.

Solved: Update Inserts to firmware version 1.4.67. 

A work around is also available: Switch the start and end actions around. If you want your outdoor lights to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise, make sure that the "off" action takes place as the first action and the "on" action takes place as the second action.

We are aware of a bug that prevents sunset or sunrise dependent schedules and rules from working. We are currently working on a fix.

Solved: Fixed in App Version 1.14.0 and later

23/08/2021 - Occupied Trigger Rule
We are aware of a bug where editing an unoccupied rule, the trigger changes from Unoccupied to Occupied after saving. This will be fixed in our next app release. 

Fix: After making your edits to the Unoccupied rule, re-select Unoccupied as the trigger and re-enter any settings before saving. 

Fixed in App Version 1.13.0 and later
