Included in your Brightwater Welcome Package there should be 4 Swidget Inserts. They are:

1. Open the Swidget App and click the SIGN UP link at the bottom right of the screen. Fill in your information and click Create Account.
   
2. A confirmation code will be emailed to you. Sign in and enter the code when prompted. You are now ready to add your first Swidget device.
   

For Swidget's Wi-Fi Inserts to work, they need to be paired with your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.  This can be done by connecting your Insert to the Swidget App using a Bluetooth connection on your phone or other mobile device. 

Before you begin, make sure the Insert is in discovery mode and you have Bluetooth enabled.

1. Plug your Swidget Insert into your Swidget Outlet, Switch, or Dimmer. 
2. Once the LED on your Swidget Insert begins to blink green, it is in discovery mode and will remain that way for 5 minutes. If light does not blink green, you may have to factory reset your Insert.
3. Login to the Swidget App and tap Add Device or the + sign in the top right of the Home screen.
4. Select the Insert that you want to pair. If you don't see anything on the Add New Device screen make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that the Insert is in Discovery mode. 
   
5. Select your Network Name from the dropdown list and enter your password. Please note that Swidget Wi-Fi Inserts will not work with 5 GHz networks. Tap Send Credentials.
6. On the Device Setup screen you can choose a Room from the dropdown list or enter your own and enter a name or names for your Swidget Device. Once completed, tap Continue.
7. Your Swidget Insert should now be paired.
