The following instructions are for creating a username and password using ODM, Device Manager for ONVIF-based Network video devices. You can find the software here.

Open ONVIF Device Manager:
- Launch the ONVIF Device Manager on your computer.

Ensure Network Connectivity:
- Confirm your computer is on the same network as your Swidget HD Camera Insert, enabling the software to find the camera.

Discover Your Camera:
- ONVIF Device Manager will scan and show all ONVIF-compatible devices on your network.
- Find your Swidget HD Camera Insert in the list on the left pane of the interface.

Select Your Camera:
- Click the camera name or IP address of your Swidget HD Camera Insert in the list, showing the camera's details and settings on the right side of the ODM interface.

Access the 'User Management' Tab:
- Navigate to the ‘User Management’ tab in the ONVIF Device Manager, located under the camera's configuration section.

Create a New User:
- Locate and click the "Create" button in the ‘User Management’ tab to add a new user.

Enter New User Details:
- Username: Input a username for the camera access, like "Admin" or "User1."
- Password: Create a strong password that includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Confirm Password: Re-enter the password for verification.

Assign User Role to Administrator:
- Set the user role to Administrator, granting full access to all settings and controls for effective management and integration with NVRs.

Integrate with NVR:
- With the new credentials established, proceed to integrate your Swidget HD Camera Insert with the NVR using ONVIF or RTSP protocols, entering the new username and password as required.
