Swidget's new Site Sharing feature allows users to share control of their Swidget devices with other Swidget account holders. Users can assign roles as either Admin, granting full control, or Guest, offering limited access. Sharing can be revoked at any time, and invitees must accept the invitation to gain access. All shared users must have, or create, their own Swidget account to participate.
To share a site with another user, please follow the instructions below:
1. From the Swidget app Home screen, select Settings and then Site Sharing.
2. Select + Share with New User.
3. Enter the email address of the invitee and select a site to share.
4. Choose from the following User Roles: Admins can add or remove users, make changes to Site, and add new Devices. Guests can interact with Devices but cannot add new ones or change any properties of the site.
5. Invitees must accept the share from the email that is automatically generated or by approving it in the app.
