Modes of Operation

Version 1.20 of the Swidget App introduced new functionality called Modes of Operation. The idea behind the new Modes of Operation is to help simplify and streamline the user experience for creating and organizing automations.

Depending upon the Device and Insert combination that you are connecting to the Swidget App, you will be presented with optional modes that will automatically enable the described functions. The initial Modes of Operation included in this version of the app are Bathroom Mode, Occupancy/Vacancy Mode, Connection Monitoring Mode and Air Exchanger Mode. New Modes of Operation will continue to be added as new Inserts become available and as other functionalities present themselves.

Thee ways to access the Modes of Operation

1. Automations Menu
   

   The automations menu now has a third type of automation indicated by an orange gear icon ().
   
   

2. Rooms View

   1. Long-press the Device in the Rooms View
   2. Tap Device Settings
   3. Then tap Modes of Operation
      
      
      

3. Devices View

   1. Tap the Settings Gear in the top right corner of the Device you want to view
   2. Then tap Modes of Operation
