Once your Swidget devices have been setup for Swidget Local, they can be connected to Control 4 using Composer on a PC or Composer Express on your smart phone. Note: some features and capabilities require the fill Composer software.

OS Compatibility: The Swidget Control4 driver is compatible with Control4 OS 3.x (up to and including OS 3.4.3). It is not compatible with Control4 OS 4 (X4). If you have upgraded to X4, please contact support@swidget.com.

1. Before you start, please download Swidget Control4 Drivers.
2. Open Composer and connect to your Control4 system/project. 
3. Select Driver from the top menu, and click Add or Update Driver or Agent. Select the drivers that you have downloaded from the link above.
4. Once installed, your devices will appear in the Discovered tab under the Items window on the far left. 
5. Right-click your Swidget device and select Add to Project.
6. The Swidget device will appear under the System Design window where you can choose a room and rename your device.
   
7. To connect the device, make sure that you have it selected.
   1. Under the Properties window, change the Security to NO_VERIFY and enter the Access Key you created when you provisioned the device in the X_KEY field and click Set.
   2. Change the Connection type from Closed to Open and click Set.
      
8. Your device should now be connected.
