Legacy integration: The Swidget Control4 driver is no longer being developed. It works with Control4 OS 3.x (up to and including OS 3.4.3) and will not be updated for Control4 OS 4 (X4) or later versions. The current driver remains available to download for existing OS 3.x systems, and these instructions stay here for reference.

Control4 App

Using the Control4, you can control your Swidget devices. Your Swidget switch products are automatically added. Additional products require custom configuration, such as custom buttons for outlet control.

Composer

From the Composer dashboard, you can control and monitor your Swidget devices. To do so, simply click on a Swidget device. A single click will bring up the Advanced Properties for your device where you can view the device type, insert type, and see a host of information depending upon the device/insert combination. 

Control and Information

Once selected, you can control and monitor your device. The capabilities of each device depend on the Swidget Insert and Device combination.

A single click on your device under the System window will display Information related to your device and may include:

• Temperature and Humidity
• Air Quality
• Power Draw
• Motion Status

Double clicking your device under the System window will show Control options and can include the following:

• Switch or Outlet Power toggle 
• Dimmer brightness
• USB control
