Replacing a bulb in a light fixture connected to a Swidget Dimmer Switch

To replace a bulb in a light fixture that is connected to the Swidget Dimmer Switch, you will first need to pull out the air gap switch. The air gap switch completely disconnects the power to the Switch and the lights it's connected to, allowing the user to replace bulbs in a fixture without the possibility of a shock.  Follow the step-by-step instructions below to replace a bulb in a light fixture connected to a Swidget Dimmer.

Bulb replacement

  1. Pull out “AIR GAP SWITCH” tab until the embossed word “OFF” can be seen clearly on the tab.
  2. Remove old bulb(s) and replace with new bulb(s).
  3. Press in “AIR GAP SWITCH” tab until the tab is flush with the front surface.
