Manually setting the MIN and MAX brightness limits on a Dimmer

A Swidget Dimmer can be adjusted (trimmed) to meet the specifications of the lights that it is connected to.  This allows the minimum and maximum brightness levels to be set and helps to eliminate flickering while maximizing the dimming range. This article outlines the steps required to set the minimum and maximum levels manually.

Set MAX and MIN brightness limits

With a light bulb connected to the Dimmer:

1. PRESS and HOLD ON for 5 seconds to set the MAXIMUM value. The light bulb will flash 3 times. Press OFF to cancel at any time.
2. Adjust with - and + buttons.
3. PRESS and HOLD ON for 5 seconds to set the MINIMUM value. The light bulb will flash 2 times.
4. Adjust with - and + buttons.
5. PRESS and HOLD ON for 5 seconds to save new MAXIMUM and MINIMUM values. The light bulb will flash once.
