Automation Recipe: Remote Air Quality Monitor and Control
Description: This recipe automatically turns ON your Swidget connected ERV when your air quality drops below a certain level and turns OFF your Swidget connected ERV when air quality improves.
Before you begin: You must have installed an ERV with a Swidget 20/40/60 Control Switch or Auxiliary Control Switch with one of Swidget's Wi-Fi Inserts connected to the Boost terminal on the ERV. You must also have installed another Swidget Device and paired a Swidget Air Quality Insert to act as the remote.

Recipe:
Please make sure that you have downloaded the latest Swidget App from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
- Tap the Automations icon from the main menu.
- Tap Create Automation or the + sign.
- Tap Rule on the Automations screen and give your Rule a name.
- Tap Select Trigger and choose the Air Quality () icon of the remote device that you want to use to control your ERV when air quality is poor.
- Choose If air quality... Declines to and select one of the options from the list and enter 0 minutes for the duration. Tap Continue.
- Optional: Send Notification.
- Choose Add Action and choose your Swidget connected ERV device that you want to control.
- Select Turn On and tap Continue.
- Tap Save Rule to have the Automation work all the time, or Add Start/End Times and/or specific days that you want the automation to run.
- Tap the + sign when back on the Automations screen.
- Tap Rule and give your Rule a name.
- Tap Select Trigger and choose the Air Quality () icon of the remote device that you used in the step 7.
- Choose If air quality... Improves to and select one of the options from the list (make sure this is a "better" air quality than you used in step 5, and enter 5 minutes for the duration. Tap Continue.
- Optional: Send Notification.
- Choose Add Action and choose your Swidget connected ERV device that you want to control.
- Select Turn OFF.
- Tap Save Rule to have the Automation work all the time, or Add Start/End Times and/or specific days that you want to receive the notification.
