During network pairing, you may receive an Installation Error message that the app has been unable to detect host type (your installing a switch but the app thinks it is an outlet, for example.)
To fix, please remove the Insert from the device and confirm or try the following:
Are the castellations on the back of the insert free of debris/clean?
Can you visually confirm that the pins are not depressed? Run fingers along the pins to see if any of them are depressed.
Remove the insert and reinstall firmly as shown in the video below and reconnect using the Swidget App.
