Swidget makes four wall switch models. All are 120 V hosts that accept any Swidget insert, and all work as regular switches even without an insert installed.
Standard Switch (S16001WA)
A simple on/off wall switch. Add a Wi-Fi or Z-Wave insert for app control, schedules, and automations.
Dimmer (SD3001WA)
A dimmer for compatible dimmable lighting. It always works as a manual dimmer; adding a Wi-Fi Control insert lets you dim, schedule, and automate it from the app. Rated 2.5 A.
20/40/60 Timer Control Switch (S16008WA)
A countdown timer switch: press the button once, twice, or three times to run the load for 20, 40, or 60 minutes, then it shuts off automatically. The timer works on its own with no insert and no Wi-Fi. It is a popular way to run bathroom fans, and it can also drive ventilation equipment such as Panasonic ERVs through its dry contact wiring option. With a sensor insert and the app, it can trigger automatically, for example on humidity or air quality. See Using the 20/40/60 Control Switch for day-to-day use.
Auxiliary Control Switch (S16009WA)
A plain on/off control switch with the same dry contact capability as the Timer, without the built-in countdown. Paired with a Wi-Fi insert and the app, it can be scheduled and automated. It is commonly used as the on/off control for ventilation equipment.
Wiring and ratings
The Timer and Auxiliary switches can switch 120 V loads directly or operate as a volt-free dry contact for equipment with its own control input — see the 120 VAC wiring options and dry contact wiring options. Swidget switches are rated 5 A maximum (Dimmer 2.5 A), which suits LED lighting, bathroom fans, and other small loads. All switches require line and neutral to operate.
